Next Sunday, the cubs and scouts will be taking part in Clean Up Australia Day in Blackman Park as part of their community service focus. Please meet at the Scout Hall between 9 – 10:30am.
It would be great if you can register online as volunteers at the site www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Blackman+Park or just turn up on Sunday morning at the Scout Hall for 30 – 90 minutes: wear comfortable old clothes, closed shoes, hat and sunscreen and signed A1 form.
Click here A1 Activity Notification Form Clean Up Aust 7_3_10 to download.
If you have gardening gloves, please bring them otherwise we will have a selection of gloves to use.
PLEASE NOTE: we will need parental supervision for your cubs and scouts as 1-2 Leaders cannot supervise all the cubs/scouts!
We do not want cubs or scouts to pick up any sharps etc. They will need to call an adult or leader to help keep all of our youth members safe.

There will be a Cubs Camp at Camp Coutts at Waterfall on the weekend of 19th-21st February.
Cubs and parents please note:
We will be joining with other Cub Packs from Hunters Hill & Putney at Camp Coutts: cubs can sleep in dormitories or camp in tents, plus there are plenty of outdoor activities such as bushwalks, wildlife and the swimming hole to enjoy. Total cost to be advised once menu and numbers are finalized. (Prices = $20 per person if sleeping in the dorms or $7pp if camping.)
N.B.: parent volunteers required at the Cubs Camp 19-21 February to help with cooking, activities and 1ST Aid please let me know if you can help!
