We’re beating the end of year rush with our annual Family Camp and End of Year Campfire Roast Dinner! Come for all or part of the weekend – but try not to miss the dinner cooked in the coals!
You are welcome to bring all the family, plus friends, for a relaxing weekend at Camp Windeyer by the Berowra Creek (about 50mins from Lane Cove to Crosslands). You can canoe, kayak, swim, fish and the kids can tackle the Commando Course. There are dormitory style bunk rooms if you can’t handle tents, and if you don’t have camping equipment you can borrow from the Group.
For catering purposes, we will need final numbers by 21st October. Costs are $25 per person, with a max of $100 per family plus $10 for friends. Talk to any of the Leaders or contact Paul McGregor (Group Leader) on 9428 4061/0415 448 804

This is a great opportunity for our cubs to camp with other packs from our Moocooboolah District. The theme for this camp is FLIGHT and the cubs will have the opportunity to complete their Level 1 Flight badge at the camp (plus keener cubs can also work towards the Level 2 Flight badge).
To give your cubs this opportunity, I need parents to volunteer as parent helpers. If you can help with cooking, 1st Aid, and helping transport and set up camp please contact me a.s.a.p. Dads particularly are needed to supervise the boys showering.
Ingleside Scout Camp is in the valley below the Ba’Hai temple on the way to Mona Vale so it’s quite close. The camp also regularly runs Environmental Activities and we will have access to their Environment Centre on the weekend.
**Please let Kaa know if you can help** Payment and forms by Wed 14th September please ***DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 20/9/11***
