The Cubs and Scouts will be racing at Balmoral at the 62nd Sirius Cup Regatta on the weekend 9-11 March

What is it?

Named after the HMS Sirius, flagship of the First Fleet, it’s a chance for Scouts, Venturers and Leaders to get together with other Scouts at a camp based primarily around water activities.

Camp for the weekend at Balmoral Oval next to the beach and enter the events!
Canoeing Sat – Scouts, Venturers and Leader
Canoeing Sun – Cubs, Scouts and Leader
Iron man – all ages held early Sunday morning
Rowing
Sailing – Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning
Saturday evening – outdoor movie

Purchase Discount Easter Show Tickets through Scouts NSW!

Scouts NSW is offering 25% discount on Easter Show tickets to scout members and their families ONLY – All Youth Members, Leaders, and their families are invited to celebrate with Scouts Australia NSW at the Royal Easter Show on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th of April. Both of these dates have both been assigned ‘Scout Days’ at the 2012 Show.
Purchase your tickets through Scouts to receive a 25% discount.
It would be great to see you on either Scout Day, however, discounted tickets purchased through Scouts can be used at the Show on any one day of the Show.

Show dates are 5th – 18th April 2012. Kids attending on the last day can purchase tickets for $13.

Children (4-15yrs) $17.60
School Children (16-18yrs with an ROA School Pupil ID or School Transport Card) $17.60
Concession (Tertiary Concession Card, NSW Seniors Card or Pension Card) $20.60
Adult $27.00
Kids Day ticket (April 18th only, 4-15yrs/16-18yrs with ID) $13.00

DEADLINE FOR Ticket Orders and Payment (cash, or cheque to 1st Lane Cove Scout Group) is 7th March for cubs/9th March for scouts. Don’t miss out!!!

Scouts and Venturer Scouts are currently on the summer holiday break but resume Friday 3rd February 2012 (from 7:30-9:30pm), & Cub Scouts start back a week later on Wednesday 8th February (7:00-8:30pm). Programme details will be available mid-January: see Cub Page for draft Term 1 Program, others following!
