Blackman Park Scout Rogaine – 20 Sept 09
Come Join in the Fun and bring the whole family!!
- Bring your family and friends
- Kids, mums and dads learn to use a compass to map your way around Lane Cove River and Blackman Park to find evidence of the cultures that lived in the area
Activities include:
- Family/team orienteering event in Blackman Park and along the Lane Cove River. Compass tutorials provided, registrations up to 11am.
(Note at least one Parent must accompany their child or children)
- Camp fire, damper twisters and billy tea on completion of the course
When: 20 Sept 09, from 9am to 12pm
Where: Blackman Park Scout Hall
Lloyd Rees Drive (off Wood Street), Lane Cove
(parking available)
Dress: The course should take approximately 1 hour to complete for novice families
– competitors to wear hats, sunscreen & closed shoes suitable for running/walking along bush tracks
