Ist Lane Cove Scout Group

Please keep a couple of hours spare on Sunday 25th May to help the Cubs and Scouts do an important community service: help collect for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. We ask for one parent to go collecting with 2 Cub Scouts (for safety reasons) for about 45mins to 1 hour, then return to the Civic Centre where volunteers receive morning tea and a small thank you gift plus certificate.

We have been invited to run a fundraising BBQ at Thomas Dux, Lane Cove this Saturday May 10th between 10am and 2pm.

We realise that this is extremely short notice as most families are involved with various sporting activities on Saturdays, but if possible we would like as many cubs and scouts families as possible to spare some time (30mins to 1 hour) on Saturday. Cubs and Scouts taking part will be eligible for a Job Month Badge. Full uniform is not essential, but please wear Group scarf and hat.
