Ist Lane Cove Scout Group

Five of our Cubs have “Gone Up” to Scouts in a fabulous evening ceremony last Wednesday night.
Our new Scouts also have new leaders. During the same evening Marcel Chaloupka was invested as a Scout Leader joining Michael Bromham who has moved from a Cub Leader to Leader of the Scout Troop. Carolyn McGregor is now joined by a new Cub Leader Ken Quail who was invested on the same night.

Thank you to all our customers for making this years drive a success.
We had gorgeous weather and a great turn out of Scouting families.
We unloaded 2 trucks and delivered over 120 orders from Chatswood to Greenwich.
We hope to see all our customers both old and new again next year.

Please come along to our Going-Up Ceremony on Wednesday the 23/8/06.
For the first part of the evening the Scouts will be outside preparing their Going-Up structure while the Cubs are inside.
We will then all go outside to conduct the ceremony and then celebrate with a bonfire and marshmallows. All are welcome.

Orders are now closed for this year’s Dynamic Lifter Drive.

Dates for the camp are Sept 22-24th 2006 at Loxford Scout Camp, Kurri Kurri.
