Ist Lane Cove Scout Group

Ist Lane Cove Cubs and Scouts set up the flagpoles and raised the Australian and Aboriginal Flags at this year’s Australia Day Celebrations. Blackman Park was once again home to the Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony where 46 people from all over the world became Australian Citizens.
Congratulations to all of them and to everyone who helped make this year’s celebrations a resounding success.

We resume normal Wednesday meetings on February 8th to give everyone time to settle in to the new school year.

We will once again be an important part of the Lane Cove Community’s Australia Day Celebrations. Please come along on Thursday 26th January to Blackman Park: Flagpole set-up at 9am, Flag Raising and Citizenship Ceremony begins at 10am, followed by games, food stalls etc until 1pm to celebrate our National Day. (Cubs to be in full uniform – meet down in Park)

Thanks to all our Scouting families for helping out on the Christmas Tree Drive 2005.
We offered not only premium trees for sale but also a trimming and home delivery service.
